I have Passport, Criminal background record, original degree and academic transcripts available immediately, though I do not have a visa for Korea
I hold a BA degree in Sociology from the University of York, where my
passion towards education was incubated after learning about the link
between schools and learning and how that impacts on students' future life
chances. I also have a 168 hour level 5 ESL qualification from the TEFL
Academy, which helped shape my teaching strategy and gain invaluable
knowledge about teaching English as a foreign language.
My teaching experience includes informal tutoring undertaken at the
University of York where I tutored peers in my degree field, and a summer
placement working in South Africa with children who had faced unfortunate
starts in life. This developed my passion for shaping the lives of children
and helping them gain all the tools they need in life to succeed. It also
helped me better understand how to work and adapt to those from cultures
that differ from my own.
Aside from this I have excellent written and verbal skills in English, as it is
my native language and I have a clear British accent, as England is my
native country. My teaching style is immersive and creative filled with
activities and equal speaking opportunities
