Bachelor of English Literature
I am Lay Lee, an ESL teacher placement coordinator at Englishwork.com. It is great honor to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you.
I was born in Seoul, the capital city of Korea. During my high school years, I had a great interest in the field of English. By the time I graduated from my high school, I decided to study English more deeply. Thus, I studied English literature & cultures at Hanyang University. My fluency in English and overseas experience studying with international students would allow me to help many applicants who want to get teaching job in Korea as my career now.
When I was in New York for 14 months, I have experienced many different cultures, food, and people. Although I went to New York to study English more, I learned both English ability and global open-mind from my experience. So, it is helpful for me to understand various cultures and view point of foreign friends.
When you come to Korea to teach English, you feel that it is easy for you to teach English because you’re native speakers. However, teaching English isn’t easier than you expected. Therefore, when you contact me to get a teaching job, I can help you both to get a job here in Korea and to adapt to Korea culture and environment.
If you still have been thinking of being English teacher in Korea, be brave. You can do well and have a great experience in Korea once you decide to teach. I’ll give you a tip how to adapt to Korea life and teach well to your students.
